The real game-changer for this Newport strata complex was the installation of premium powder-coated aluminium ‘Karben’ gutter guard, known for its durability, lightweight and resistance to rust and corrosion.  Using the innovative "ski-slope" system, we fixed the durable mesh to the gutter lip with a right-angled trim. This unique design allows leaves and debris to slide directly over the gutter guard and off the roof, preventing them from entering the gutters in the first place. Pre-shaped saddles clamp the mesh securely into place, ensuring a robust fit, even with necessary modifications for balcony sections.

Long-Term Solutions & Peace of Mind

To facilitate easy maintenance down the line, we also supplied and fitted easy-access trap doors for future flushing of any fine silt that might accumulate. We advised the strata management on an 18-month schedule for flushing this silt, ensuring the gutter system remains free-flowing and efficient.
